These kids have been resilient. They have had great purpose. They have been ready to play.

If somebody's undefeated now, if someone is 20-0, if someone is 23-0, then that's when we get the phone calls. Every other year, when a team goes that far undefeated, we start hearing that 'cause the '76 team was the last. I guess that generates some conversation.

I like what our guys have done, what they're doing and what they're headed for. I feel good about them.

That's a great accomplishment. League play is tough. You have to play every team twice. That's a great tribute to the players and coaches.

It's always a great rivalry game with Army-Navy and I think our guys showed a lot of heart on the road today. They showed a lot of different defenses and I think our guys did a good job executing.

They switch some, they play a little zone, they play man. They look different all the time. That presents problems.

Defensively, we were pretty sound for a while. But they broke us down. That?s where Pat does such a good job, with so many (offensive) options within a possession.

No question about it. Everything we accomplished in '76, the '75 team set the foundation for.
